Deepika Padukone began her Bollywood career with a bang in Om Shanti Om opposite Shahrukh Khan. She continues to make news, as her latest film Desi Boyz mints money at the box office. Nothing has kept the the babelicious actor on a low, be it a bad film or an unsuccessful relationship till now. Dips claims that the success of Desi Boyz belongs mainly to debutante director Rohit Dhawan.
Despite the fact that it’s a male centric film, Deepika explains that without the women the film would have lost its spicy flavour. Post Desi Boyz, the actor will be busy filming with ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor. Now wouldn’t that be a little bit awkward? Well not really as Dips says that she and Ranbir are in a very friendly space at the moment. And no matter what, Ranbir will always be special to her for the person he is. Looks like the sexy babe has clearly moved on and left those bitter memories behind somewhere in the chaotic lanes of B-town.
We also thought that after the Koffee With Karan episode, the two wouldn’t bother to come face to face again. But given the fact that Bollywood actors are a tad unpredictable, the next thing we see is these two ex-lovers are all set to share screen space with each other. Amidst all this, Ms Padukone’s current bf Siddhartha Mallya seems to be quite unaffected with the friendly reunion.
Ms Padukone has a lot in her kitty at the moment, Ayan Mukherji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Race 2 and Homi Adajania’s Cocktail. We are sure she needs all the good luck, for her films and for working with her ex-beau
